there was a symphony in our hearts on memorial day as the guys put together a memorial day invitational double header. they even let the old folks play.
it was hot.
it was humid.
but it was wonderful.
the hubs made a quick kroger run and we had an impromptu barbecue and grilled out dogs and brats for the guys and had beans, pickles, chips and cookies.
they played.
they ate.
and then they played some more.
our front yard is trashed. it won't be the same till late this fall or more likely, next spring.
and we couldn't be happier.
